DeWolff & Certain Animals 05-01-2019

On Saturday, January 5th, it was DeWolff and their supporting act, Certain Animals, who kicked off 2019 with a bang. Along with other photographers, I had the opportunity to capture this show in Building T on film. It was a great opportunity to try out my wide-angle lens in a concert setting. And it wasn't disappointing. It allowed me to capture close-up shots of the entire band. DeWolff had a beautifully lit logo in the background, which sometimes resulted in some great images. The Rotterdam band, Certain Animals, played a fantastic, powerful show, something the audience and I were certainly impressed with.
DeWolff wasn't playing in Bergen op Zoom for the first time. These young guys have been on stage for quite a few years now and have certainly earned their stripes and a loyal fan base. They put on a great show, featuring songs from their latest album Thrust as well as older tracks like the closing track "Don't You Go Up The Sky." All in all, 2019 got off to a rocking start, leaving you wanting more!
