Donington Masters weekend 2023
At the start of a trip through England and Scotland, I couldn't resist taking in a racing event. I attended the Masters race weekend at Donington Park. Several vintage cars were competing in various classes. I saw several cars, including the Peugeot 908 and the Oak Racing Morgan LMP2, back in action.
But the old Grand Prix cars and historic sports cars also had a chance to shine on the circuit. It's truly a breath of fresh air to photograph at a circuit like Donington. Often, there's an unobstructed view from behind a low fence on the infield. And in the spots with a single high fence, it's only one low fence, so you can still get a good shot with the camera.
The photos are spot on. Despite the starting grid thinning out somewhat in the afternoon due to technical dropouts, it was a great day at the circuit.
