Londen

Londen

One city that was definitely still on my bucket list was London. Years ago, we were supposed to go there with the family, but due to unforeseen circumstances, that didn't happen. Now that I'd made a plan to attend races at the Silverstone Circuit, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally visit London while I was already in the country. And so it happened. After the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) race , we headed straight to London. We parked the car on the outskirts of the city and then continued on by underground (which, given the high parking fees and hassles with low-emission zones, is recommended). We stayed near the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Of course, we visited and photographed them extensively, which resulted in some truly beautiful images, especially at night. We also took an organized tour of London. Although, let's just say it was a bit chaotic. But in the end, we saw everything: the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, the Tower, Greenwich, and the London Eye. Actually, the visit was still too short; there's definitely more to see. Who knows, maybe someday!
