Roadtrip Hongarije 2021
In September 2021, Henri and I went on a road trip to Hungary. A nice getaway. The trip took us through Belgium, Germany, and Austria, heading southeast. We made a stop in Vienna for a city walk. We visited Princess Sissi's palace and strolled through the city, passing many beautiful buildings, including the opera house.
But our final destination was Hungary. A beautiful cottage with a swimming pool on Lake Balaton was ours. Enjoy the late summer, cycle around the lake. And of course, visit Budapest. What a magnificent city it is. All sorts of old-style government buildings, churches, palaces, all in pristine condition. We also visited the railway museum there, highly recommended, with all sorts of trains from the Soviet era. We also visited the old town of Sopron, the Veszprem Zoo, and of course, Balatonnibob (legendary...)!
