Sanicole Sunset Airshow 2025
For years, I'd been itching to visit an air show again. Due to defense budget cuts, there hasn't been an air force open house in the Netherlands for years. So, you have to rely on shows abroad. That's why I attended the Sanicole sunset show in 2022. But after heavy rain, I decided to call it a day.
But this year I tried again. Admittedly, the program was interrupted again this time due to rain, which unfortunately cost participants like the Red Arrows their participation. Fortunately, there were also dry spells with plenty of variety and spectacle. From wing walking to a rescue demonstration, fighter jets, and finally a finale in the dark with stunt planes and a helicopter launching fireworks. Well worth it. See the photos below.
