USA 2016: Utah
Utah is truly the perfect state for a road trip, whether you're traveling by car, motorcycle, or campervan. Behind every hill lies a new landscape. Within this state, we visited Zion National Park (far too briefly) and later Monument Valley. At the various hotels, we noticed how you keep running into Dutch people everywhere. Even though we sometimes only stayed in a small hamlet with one hotel, there were still Dutch people sitting next to us in the morning. I also grabbed my camera during the late evenings there to capture the starry sky from the balcony. In Monument Valley, we also stopped at a spot that has since become known as Forrest Gump Point. At Mile 13 in the movie, Forrest Gump's run across the USA ended when he suddenly had enough. You could have chosen worse locations to film. For now, I'll let the photos speak for themselves!
